Yukiso Studio is a volunteer-based indie animation team
Yukiso Studio is a volunteer-based, certified, and free learning experience teaching young creatives to improve their skills in entertainment. This studio's current project is KESURU - a modern fantasy, anime-inspired, action, and thriller series that challenges the negative preconceived notions of Gacha and it's community.

Yukiso Studio aims to challenge the prejudice small creative communities receive by giving back to small artists and creating spaces that allow those creators to express themselves freely and without judgment.

We provide subscriptions to programs like Live2D pro and Alight Motion, delegate workshops and training opportunities, as well as help with resume and portfolio building - all for free! Help us do this by donating!.
Yukiso Studio's current on-going project is a YouTube series called KESURU. The world building of this story is very intricate and requires a lot of attention to detail. Through this show, members continuously get the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experiment with rigging, animation, art, VFX, writing, and so much more!

Kesuru is a long-term passion series that has been in the works since 2024. It features a popular kids game called Gacha Life as the main medium and style.Despite Kesuru's chibi appearance, it's story is nothing less than intense.Over the years, Yukiso's members have been working daily to improve the overall writing and visuals of Kesuru to bring forward the NEW revamp of the series: Kesuru REMASTEREDOur goal with Kesuru is to tell a compelling story that accurately depicts real world emotions and consequences. Kesuru covers themes like family loss, systematic abuse, and suicide. Kesuru also contains a variety of uncomfortable visuals including uncanny body horror and gore.

Kesuru has proved to be a powerful learning opportunity for our members - providing a space for creatives to express, experiment, and expand their skills in indie production.Taught and lead by experienced people, members gain new insights on collaborative work, and get a mild feel for professional indie productions.

Appearances do not diminish hard work. Yukiso is a team of over 120 unique creatives learning and working every day.
Each episode is a new skill introduced and improvements made. Production, no matter how small, is not easy and requires countless hours worth of dedication.Episode 3 alone took over 2,000 hours of labor over the span of eight months. This project is made by passionate creatives who love what they do!

It's no secret that the Kesuru medium Gacha Life can be somewhat striking to those who are unfamiliar with the established gacha community. For some, it may even be off-putting.We use gacha as a tool to produce our content. While many may perceive it's style to be immature or childish, our studio aims to prove that art does not need to conform to specific standards to be taken seriously.

Kesuru is a very unique show on the account of it's artistic style and story elements. The show features a creative blend of 2d and 3d backgrounds, models, and lighting that range from simple and familiar to bright, colorful paintings.Kesuru also features an original, fictional language called Katakuhn. Like any real language it can be learned, spoken, written, and read. It's relevance to the story is immense, as it shapes the entire world-building of Kesuru.

The independent project division
Yukiso IND is an additional learning division for studio projects pitched by our members. The IND process allows members to learn skills related to managing animation productions - teaching a variety of organizational skills and resource management.

Yukiso IND's current production is Object Of The Gods - a post apocalyptic world where humans are nothing more than accessories to the Gods that rule them.Expected release date is: pending

IND projects are a great opportunity for individual short stories to shine with unique styles that expand outward from just Gacha.
These shorts are great for utilizing frame by frame animation, and various mobile animations too.

Running a production is hard. For years young creatives have expressed their desire to create their own series, their own team, or their own movie. Passionate creators want to bring their own stories to life, and many of them have exactly what the community needs to see!
However, passion and creativity alone doesn't get very far. Most projects fall off or slowly disappear with inactivity as directors become too overwhelmed or crowded by pressure.

Perhaps a project goes viral but a second episode never releases because the director becomes busy. Perhaps an episode releases and doesn't do as well as the director expected - causing them to feel discouraged and quit the project. Or, maybe the scope of the project was simply too ambitious, and the Director is too inexperienced to know how to balance it all with their personal life.
There are many reasons why a project disappears, and it's deeply disheartening to see so many passionate, talented, and hard-working creatives abandon the stories that mean so much to them. Yukiso wants to help.
Through Yukiso IND we can provide members a chance to direct their own content! We provide a low-risk learning environment full of pre-established resources such as animators, riggers, PSD makers, artists, storyboarders, and more. This ensures new directors get a chance to learn without fear, and teaches them how to balance the workload that comes with running a production. After the successful completion of a project the director will have all the knowledge necessary to manage a production all on their own!
